This is a sleepy little town as evidenced by the most exciting things in it being the graveyard and the library. (The library had the coolest red bookshelves and a sick shelving cart.) Apparently it is the jazz capital of Norway, but we arrived at 7am on a Sunday. No one was awake. This was the port we should have taken the troll road tour or planned for a long hike.
Ah well, we did find a great coffee shop and the cathedral was cool. The walk through the town was pretty. Scandinavian minimalist homes. Clean lines, big windows, and lots of concrete. We ended the day with a little light shopping for necessities once things finally opened, and then it was back to the ship for an afternoon nap.
